Greetings from Frankfurt Germany! Sitting in the airport awaiting our flight to Bangkok. Left Seattle at 3:00 Saturday and arrived in Germany at 9:00am on Sunday. We had bought Subway sandwiches for the flight but because the food was so good on Lufthansa, we didn't eat them till we got here. Good thing. I can't imagine what a sandwich would have cost us. Paid $15 for an iced tea and a bottle of water!!!!
Sonja is zonked out. They have these great lounge chairs here where you can damn near lay down and as soon as she put her feet up she was gone. Hopefully she'll sleep through the flight to Thailand. We arrive in Bangkok at 6:30 am on Monday and have a full day planned. Supposed to be in the low 90's there.... can't wait.
I'm a little disappointed that my phone isn't working. I arranged for global roaming before I left the states but I have no connectivity here. Emailed Verizon and hopefully by the time we get to Vietnam the global connection will be set.
